Description

20mm Rose Gold Quartzite Stone Chipping - Decorative Aggregates for Gardens.

Sourced from a quarry in Co. Donegal, Rose Gold Quartzite is a premium decorative aggregate celebrated for its unique mix of soft rose pinks, warm golden tones, and natural earthy undertones. This angular stone is carefully processed to ensure a clean, consistent quality, making it a striking and dependable choice for both residential and commercial landscaping projects.

The 20mm grade offers a more substantial, textured appearance than finer chippings, making it ideal where a stronger visual impact and improved drainage are required.

Natural Colour Variations

Rose Gold Quartzite Stone Chippings feature a naturally elegant colour range, including:

  • Soft rose pink shades
  • Warm golden highlights
  • Subtle sandy and earthy tones

As with all natural stone, variation in tone and texture is normal and enhances its character. The stone also changes appearance depending on conditions:

  • When wet: colours intensify, revealing deeper rose and gold tones
  • When dry: the finish becomes lighter and more natural

These variations help create a dynamic, ever-changing landscape surface with depth and warmth.

Size

20mm (This Product) – Larger, bolder, and more decorative finish

Also available in:

  • 14mm – Finer, more compact and uniform appearance

The 20mm size is best suited to projects where a more pronounced stone presence is desired, offering excellent visual texture and strong drainage performance.

Applications

The 20mm Rose Gold Quartzite Stone Chippings are ideal for landscaping projects requiring a bold, natural finish and excellent performance:

  • Rockeries and feature landscaping
  • Large garden beds and planting schemes
  • Decorative ground cover in open areas
  • Driveway borders and edging details
  • Drainage zones and soakaway surrounds
  • Commercial landscape design projects

The larger grading provides a strong visual presence while allowing efficient water movement through the surface, making it both decorative and functional.

Important Considerations

  • Best suited to feature areas and landscaping where a bold finish is preferred
  • May feel less compact underfoot compared to smaller gravel sizes
  • Occasional raking or topping up may be required to maintain appearance
  • For load-bearing or high-traffic driveways, proper sub-base preparation is essential

Why Choose Rose Gold Quartzite Gravel?

  • Distinctive natural rose and gold colouring
  • Durable and weather-resistant stone
  • Low maintenance landscaping solution
  • Supports natural drainage
  • Premium Irish-sourced decorative aggregate
