Location: Glencolmcille, Co Donegal 

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week 

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Excavator Driver to join our team at a busy quarry operation. The role will report directly to the Quarry Manager and will involve the employee being an integral part of the team.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation of 25 – 40 tonne excavators in a quarry environment
• Digging, selecting, loading, and stockpiling materials
• Routine daily checks and basic maintenance of the machine
• Working closely with the quarry team to ensure safe and productive operations
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid excavator operator ticket (QSCS, CSCS, or equivalent)
• Proven experience operating excavators in a quarry or heavy construction environment
• Strong awareness of site safety and equipment checks
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
•  Flexibility to work on a full-time basis, including occasional overtime
