The Brief

The garden was commissioned by Vestra Wealth to reflect the lifestyle of a busy city professional seeking a tranquil retreat from the demands of urban life. Inspired by Eastern travel and wellness philosophies, the brief called for a space that promotes relaxation, mindfulness, and balance.

The design needed to combine strong architectural elements with soft landscaping to create a harmonious environment suitable for quiet reflection, reading, and yoga.

Natural Stone Solution

To complement the contemporary design, McMonagle Stone supplied Atlantico Blue Limestone, selected for its subtle grey tones and elegant natural variation.

This high-quality limestone was used to form clean, structured surfaces throughout the garden, working in harmony with Corten steel walls and architectural features. The stone’s understated colour palette provided the perfect backdrop for the rich planting scheme and carefully curated materials.
