No.10 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2
No.10 Molesworth Street is one of the most prestigious commercial addresses in Dublin City Centre, representing a modern architectural response to its historic Georgian surroundings. Designed by Henry J Lyons Architects, the building delivers 115,000 sq ft of Grade A office space across seven floors, complete with expansive roof terraces and private landscaped gardens.
Located at the corner of Molesworth Street and South Frederick Street, Dublin 2, the development offers unrivalled views over Leinster House, Government Buildings, and the Mansion House.
The Brief
The vision for No.10 Molesworth Street was to create a landmark office development that:
- Respects and enhances its Georgian urban context
- Provides high-quality external amenity spaces for occupants
- Integrates private landscaped gardens and terraces
- Delivers premium outdoor finishes suitable for heavy use
A key focus was the creation of elevated outdoor spaces that could offer both visual impact and functional wellbeing benefits for building occupants.
Natural Stone Solution
McMonagle Stone supplied premium natural stone paving solutions for the development’s 5,500 sq ft of elevated terraces and landscaped garden areas.
Working alongside P J Hegarty & Sons , Cameo & Partners and landscape specialists Carragh Paving & Landscapes, the stone materials were installed across the fourth and fifth-floor terraces, forming a durable and visually refined surface.
These elevated outdoor spaces were designed to complement the building’s architecture while providing a seamless transition between indoor office environments and outdoor amenity areas.
