FINALIST in 'Growth through Export Award' Category

McMonagle Stone is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists in the Growth Through Export Award category at the 2019 Letterkenny Business Awards.

Organised by the Donegal News in partnership with the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce, the awards celebrate excellence across 15 categories, recognising businesses throughout Letterkenny and the wider North West region. These awards highlight organisations that demonstrate dedication, innovation, and a strong commitment to growing the local economy.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious Gala Awards Night in the Clanree Hotel on Friday, 8th November 2019.

Sponsored by Enterprise Ireland, the Growth Through Export Award recognises businesses that are successfully expanding into international markets. Over the past year, McMonagle Stone has achieved a 30% increase in exports, supplying premium natural stone to markets including the UK, Spain, Germany, and Japan.

As the sole producer and exporter of the renowned Donegal Quartzite and Mountcharles Sandstone, we take great pride in bringing these unique materials to a global audience. Reaching the final stage of this award is a significant milestone for our team—one that reflects over four decades of growth, expertise, and dedication.

Today, McMonagle Stone employs over 70 people across our quarries, production facilities, transport fleet, and depots in Donegal, Swords, and Lisburn. This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our entire team and the continued support of our customers and partners.
