Description

Wicklow Granite – Machined

Wicklow Granite is a premium Irish building stone, quarried in County Wicklow and widely recognised for its warm buff to brown tones and naturally coarse, gritty texture. This durable granite is a trusted choice for builders, architects, and homeowners seeking a strong, weather-resistant stone with a classic, earthy appearance.

Ideal for both structural and decorative use, Wicklow Granite brings a more uniform, rugged look compared to other granites, making it especially suited to projects where a natural yet consistent finish is desired.

Natural Colour Variations

Features a blend of buff and brown shades with a distinctly grainy texture, giving walls and stonework a solid, traditional character.

Machined Finish

Supplied as Wicklow Granite – Machined, each stone is machine-split on 2–3 sides to create at least one usable face. Commonly referred to as a machine block, this format allows for easier installation, though additional shaping or dressing may be carried out by a stonemason for a refined finish.

Bulk Bag Coverage

Approximately 3.2 - 3.5 m² per bulk bag.  Coverage may vary depending on stone size, joint width, and installation method. Use our building stone calculator to help estimate the number of bags you require.
