University Geology Class Tour of McMonagle Stone Quartzite Quarry

A group of geology students from Duke University in North Carolina (duke.edu) visited our quartzite quarry as part of their tour of rock formations in Ireland. They were particularly interested in quartzite due to its unique formation.

This visit provided a hands-on learning experience, deepening their understanding of this remarkable natural stone.
