McMonagle Stone is seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Person to join our team in Dublin. This is a full-time position with an immediate start date. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of materials while maintaining a high level of safety and customer satisfaction. The Yard Person will report directly to the Yard Manager and work collaboratively with the team to achieve dispatch targets and maintain the overall success of the yard.

Location: Swords, Co Dublin, K67 FK80

Hours of Work: 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday – Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that incoming materials are stored, stacked, and distributed according to company procedures.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
  • Maintaining and recording of Goods Inwards
  • Ensuring an excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail is provided when picking customer orders.
  • Carry out Stock Checks as assigned and report discrepancies to Supervisor/ Manager.
  • Maintain good housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is a must.
  • Customer focused and driven
  • Excellent understanding of forklift operations and safety guidelines.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects throughout the shift.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctual, reliable, and committed to the role.
  • Flexibility to work on a full-time basis, including occasional overtime
