Why is my stone inconsistent in colour ?

Tonal variations and shades are evident in all natural stone products and are not considered an error or defect. It is impossible to have two identical pieces of stone. Natural stone is taken from the face of a quarry, and quarries typically have different coloured veins running through it. To help you better understand the extraction process imagine the quarry is a marble cake and you are cutting various slices. These slices are then cut into smaller pieces and produced into walling, cladding, paving, setts etc. Please also bear in mind that masonry finishes will also have an impact on the colour of the stone. We recommend that decisions on a specific colour and finish of a stone should be made from viewing the product in person.

I have ordered too much stone, can I return excess quantities ?

McMonagle Stone do not accept returns on excess quantities of over ordered material. It is the customers sole responsibility to check quantities and measurements with their contractor or stonemason prior to placing an order to ensure they are correct.

Do I need to pay VAT ?

Value Added Tax (VAT) is a tax charged on the sale of goods or services. As a seller McMonagle Stone must charge its customers VAT so that this tax can be paid to the government.
